Creation & Publication
The sonic side of
Coffeemonk Design Flaws, My Favorite
Martyr is dedicated to publishing new music and anything
else associated with the shameless and uncompromising manipulation
of tympanic membranes around the world. Rock, blues, jazz, spoken-word,
the ambient noises of a well-used bathroom; everything is fair
game in the world of My Favorite Martyr.
Currently in Production:
An untitled EP by
the Puffin, is expected to be available
sometime within the next decade. Pre-production has not
yet yielded to the forces of actual production, but we're happily
expectant.
May 11 update: Here's a word (or thirty) from the Puffin
himself:
"The
Puffin has formed an alliance with a new partner in crime. They
are currently working up a handful of songs that may just be bigger
than the Backstreet Boys. Make space on your walls for the poster
girls, these boys will set you on fire. Long live the Kirk! Long
live rock 'n' roll!"
This may well be what we've
been waiting for kids. Bring on the rock!
Worthy of Note:
From the land of 40-thousand side-projects
Will they ever
stop? Hell no, they say. The coffeemonks, pricks, and other assorted
audio whores have assembled yet another side project. Ultimate
Nullifier have asked the question, "Will you shut the
fuck up so we can rock?" What is your answer?
Lucifigous
Prick launch new web site - and start work on a new album!
As ugly as it
is pretty, as sappy as it is sassy, the new Lucifigous Prick
web site
is underway, underdone, and overblown. It promises to be a hoot,
for those of you who like hooting, and whatever else for those
of you who prefer that. Check it out, and be sure to tell 'em
how much it sucks!
The boys have also recorded a couple
songs, prepping for a new album sometime (that's as close as I'll
call it). As soon as we get some mp3s from those good-for-nothing
lowlife scum, we'll post 'em here. Even if they suck... ESPECIALLY
if they suck.
First eugene
demo CD completed
Recently completed
and being submitted to record companies across the nation, the
new CD by eugene promises to be a hit with the
cool kids. The disc features Mr. Martyr himself--Paul S.
Brown--alongside his close friends and comrades in the land of
rent and house chores--Frankie Steele and Brian Gray. We
here at My Favorite Martyr have tried to convince
the trio to self publish and at least release the CD locally,
but the boys are holding out for a major label multi-album deal.
